Entire letter from Astaffort (France) to Havana, carried via Bordeaux with involvement of a British packet via London, struck on front and reverse with "Empresa" markings including "E" within oval and "NE" with inverted "N" (P.E. 41 & 60). A rare destination in this early period carried through the Cuban "Empresa de Correos Marítimos".
