CubaIncoming Mail1850, Dec. 7. Official ("S.N.") cover from Orotava (Canary Islands, Spain) to Havana, with judicial "Del Juez de 1a. Instancia/De Orotava" oval marking, "Tenerife/Canarias" c.d.s., "Empresa/España" oval handstamp (P.E. 43) on back of the Cuban "Empresa de Correos Marítimos", rarely applied in yellow, rated with "16" due marking, being crossed out and repeated on back in manuscript. At top left, handwritten "1 ø" indicating weight. Usual aging found in Cuban mail, still though very desirable for this exceedingly scarce oval handstamp.
