                        CubaIncoming Mail1849, May 3. Entire letter from San Sebastián (Spain) to Havana, with blurred strike of dispatch c.d.s. in red, charged in transit at Cádiz with "8R" due marking, and struck on receipt with "8" reales for the double rate and "Correo Maritimo./N°. 6" oval handstamp (P.E. 49), both in yellow. Usual slight aging and few acidic ink erosions in address' panel, as usually found on incoming mail, and split along vertical fold at top.
