CubaIncoming Mail1842, March 17. Folded cover, presumably from Mexico, addressed to Havana, being disinfected in the Havana harbor with three slits, rated with "3" reales marking as per double weight, and very fine circular "Yndias/E" handstamp (P.E. 56). The only example recorded of this marking in blue, and one of exceedingly few letters known disinfected in Havana.
