CubaOutgoing Mail1843, Feb 27. Entire letter from Matanzas to Madrid, outstandingly well struck with fancy "Franco" and "Matanzas/Isla de Cuba." c.d.s. in red, which were previously, faintly applied alongside, with neat oval "Correo Maritimo./N°. 2" handstamp (P.E. 45) in blue. Tear on front in centre barely visible, not detracting from the superb appearance and state of preservation, displaying a very infrequent combination of postmarks.
