CubaOutgoing Mail1831, Aug. 30. Entire letter from Santiago to San Sebastián (Spain), endorsed "Por la Empresa", centrally struck in red with "Franco/Cuba" two-line handstamp. Annotated on reverse "Empresa Pagó 4" denoting the involvement of the "Empresa de Correos Marítimos" in its carriage and the prepayment of 4 reales. Just about five covers are recorded with this postmark.
