CubaOutgoing Mail1815 circa. Large cover from Havana to Omoa (Honduras), from the "Superintendencia de Tabacos de La Habana", placed on board the "Ana María" schooner as per sender's directive, superbly handstruck with small "Indias" straight-line handstamp (P.E. 37) in black. A handwritten notation on reverse indicates "1 Ø" (weight) & "12 r" (postage) as per 1815 tariff. A remarkable usage of this postmark, with only four items known before 1821. Ex Dr. Ibáñez.
