Ship's register envelope of the "San Ygnacio" brigantine sailing from Santiago to Portobelo (Panama), transporting tobacco "on account of His Majesty the King", signed by the postmaster of Santiago "Salazar", with bold strikes of red "Cuba." & "Franco." straight-line handstamps (P.E. 2 & 6). Worm holes in places. Only this postal document is recorded jointly bearing both postmarks. Of just sixteen external ship's register covers recorded from Latin American origins, eight of them emanate from Cuba.
