Cover addressed to Captain Bonetti care of the Ministry of Defence, redirected care of the warship "Gherso" in Taranto and forwarded to the Ministry of Navy in Rome, bearing "Marconi" 50c. tied by blue "Battaglione Granatieri di Savoia/Sciangai" double circle with coat-of-arms, showing two strikes of "R. Nave/Ermanno Carlotto" c.d.s. in violet. A very rare usage of the Battalion handstamp in conjunction with a warship datestamp. Photo
