1874, Oct. Envelope from Lima to Lugano (Switzerland), initially franked by 1866-67 "Llama" 10c. vermilion, tied by Lima c.d.s., thence via British P.O. at Callao (port of embark) where it was prepaid with 4d. orange pair, pl. 13, and 1s. green pl. 8, each tied by "C38" barred oval obliterator with corresponding Callao c.d.s. on reverse, together with Lugano arrival. Some imperfections barely detracting from this rare cover. S.G. Z37, Z54.
