Cover from Cap Haitien to Nantes, with the required franking to pay the single rate being 1871 25c. blue strip of four, tied by anchor lozenges with matching  "Le Cap-Haitien" octagon with fleuron (Salles fig. 1366c), and "Le Cap-Haïtien/Paq. Fr. D N°2" paquebot datestamp on reverse (Salles fig. 1496d). Maury 60. Ex "Hispanola" collection and Borromeo d'Adda.
