1845, 600r. black, yellowish paper, intermediate impression, the phenomenal vertical strip of six, of remarkable freshness exhibiting a slightly slanted cliché in second position from the base, graced by ample balanced margins all round just touching frame line at one point at top left, very lightly cancelled, leaving the designs quite clear, by red indistinct handstamp (probably ''Correio Geral da Corte''). The unique largest strip recorded of the highest denomination in classic Brazilian philately, also being one the three largest multiples in existence which bear a handstamp usage. Long considered to be one of the most important and beautiful pieces of this issue. Cert. Moorhouse, signed A. Diena (the signature type applied by him for great rarities) and Calves. RHM 10.
