1921, "30c - 30c" slanted surcharges on 50c. green, and national postage 3c., on 13 October commercial cover from Bogota to Barranquilla, with the airmail adhesive being tied by "Sociedad Colombo-Alemana/De/Transportes Aéreos" three-lines handstamp and faint strike of "13 Oct 1921" straight-line datestamp at top right, backstamped at Barranquilla on October 15. Some soiling of no importance for this unique item. This stamp is believed to have been issued at Bogota or Medellin in October 1921, resembling to the first provisional surcharge, which was issued at Bogota on 2 May 1921. This example, contrasting with that first surcharge, exhibits slanted overprints and was used several months later. The only cover recorded with this provisional surcharge. As a proof of its magnitude, this item was used as the tittle page illustration of the "Handbook of the SCADTA Provisional Surcharges 1921-1923" by Santiago Cruz and Dieter Bortfeldt. Colomphil 11.
