1845, 90r. black, fine impression, type II, clear to large margins showing re-entry in the ''9'', together with well margined 30 r. black, intermediate impression, type II, possessing re-entries in the figures, both tied by ''Correio de Santos'' cds (18 April 1845). Portion of paper missing on reverse not enabling the complete datestamp to be shown. An unusual franking used to pay the single maritime rate, with only about ten covers recorded. Cert. Moorhouse.
