Entire letter from Bahia to Genoa, without entering the Brazilian mails and carried by the Sardinian "Velocifero", charged "8" decimi on receipt, with red "Via/Di Mare/A" of Genoa identifying this correspondence as originating from America, with arrival on back dated 1 March. A rare mail conveyed by a Sardinian ship instead of a British or French vessel.
