Cover to Rio de Janeiro franked by "Verticais" 30r. vertical pair and "Dom Pedro" 20r. violet-slate in pair, each cancelled by blue cork cancel and dotted lozenge, with matching "Campo Bello" oval handstamp at left. Small tear to cover at base and vertical crease passing through one 30r. adhesive. An infrequent franking including the unusual violet-slate shade, from a scarce origin. RHM 13, 24b.
