1920, 10c."Woman and Boy Watching Plane", a fine example on cover from Cartagena to Barranquilla on the 22 February First Flight, additionally franked by National Post 3c., and tied by "CCNA/Cartagena" oval handstamp and "Correo Aéreo./Cartagena-Colombia." c.d.s., backstamped on arrival. According to the contract between the Compañía Colombiana de Navegación Aérea and the National Postal Service -being signed on 3.12.1919-, 3 additional centavos, in National Post stamps, were to be paid for each 15 grams. A very fine and rare commercial correspondence, being one of seven covers recorded of this flight exhibiting this vignette; this is also one of the scarcest vignettes used on cover, with 18 examples known.
