People's Bank of China, a pair of black and white uniface obverse progressive proof 100 yuan, 1999, including,
1). With Mao Zedong portrait at right, watermark at left, security thread at centre with 'The People's Bank of China RMB 100'. Important to note that the bank name at top and '100' at lower left is engraved without ink,
2). With the addition of bank name and emblem at left, serial number CX00090779, and denomination at centre, note different security thread,
(Pick 901pp for type), PMG 58 and 63 respectively. Note that both types of security threads were not used on the issued 100 yuan. An interesting pair of progressive proofs (2)
