1937 (26 Apr.) envelope to Detroit bearing a fine strike of straight-line "Via Hongkong & by U.S. Air Service" struck in red, with $2.65 franking tied by Chengfu c.d.s. paying double rate 25c. surface, 50c. air to H.K. and $1.90 clipper air. Believed to have been carried on the first Clipper flight. Also 1937 (8 May) envelope registered to New York "Via Shanghai, Hongkong and US. Air Services bearing $6.65 franking tied by Nanking c.d.s. with the Par Avion etiquette and registration label alongside and pays five times rate of surface 15c., 25c. internal air, air to HK $1.25, air to U.S. $4.75 and registration 25c. Rate 1.4.2.1. also two first Trans Pacific flight covers from U.S.A. and from Shanghai flight. (4 covers)
