1937-39 a group of covers with 1938 (22 Dec.) envelope from Kunming to Frankfurt "via Hanoi - Marseilles", with pair of air 45c. on the reverse paying the single rate; 1938 (28 Dec.) air mail envelope to Germany via Hanoi bearing single franking 90c. air paying the single rate tied by Kunming c.d.s.; 1939 (4 Jan.) envelope to Paris bearing mixed $1.55 franking tied by Kunming c.d.s., paying the double rate; 1939 (30 Aug.) envelope to Scotland "via Hanoi and Air France" with 75c. franking (underpaid); also 1937 (14 June) envelope to London small handstruck "Via Hanoi" in red, bearing $2 and 5c. (the third adhesive has been lost which probably made up the triple rate. (5 covers)
