1937 (30 Nov.) commercial air mail envelope registered to Hamburg bearing Sun Yat Sen $1 (3) with Martyrs 10c. and 30c. (2) tied by dotted Hankow Chinese/English c.d.s. with the red on white registration label at foot plus manuscript "18gm"; the reverse with Hong Kong registered (1.12) and Hamburg (14.1) arrival c.d.s. There is a vertical crease, well away from the adhesives and a light stain mark lower right corner. A high value franking. Pays quadruple air mail rate of surface (25c.) four times air to Germany (55c. +20c) and registration (25c.) for a total of $3.70. Rate 1.1.2.1.
