1856 (29 Dec.) blue envelope to Dublin "via Marseilles", rated "11" and with a good strike of the Crowned "paid/at/hong kong" with London Paid tombstone (16.2) alongside, the reverse with Hong Kong type 9 c.d.s. and the arrival c.d.s.. At the end of 1856, the P&O itinerary returned to the bi-monthly service after ships were released from the Crimean War. Photo
