The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, $5, a 'raised denomination' note, 18.8.1930, serial number S/F 042715, similar to the above, an attempt to fraudulently raise the value of the note from $5 to $50, in the English, Chinese and Arabic numbers. The attempt at raising the value is only partially complete with the English and Chinese text missing.
