Lungchow: 1901 (30 Mar.) opened-out envelope registered to Haiphong bearing, on the reverse, C.I.P. 2c. (5) and 10c. tied by fine strikes of this scarce bilingual c.d.s., the address side with French Indo-China 40c. tied by "lang-son/tonkin" c.d.s. (1.4) with a second strike alongside, Chinese and French "R". A couple of light horizontal creases do not detract from this rare and desirable cover. Photo
