1942 (26 Feb.) air mail envelope to San Francisco bearing, on the reverse, $18.40 franking tied by Toishan dotted c.d.s. with Tsangwu transit (3.3) alongside with censor seal at side with "DHF/2" handstamp of Calcutta and "DHF/8" with four line mark cancelling air mail. A good cover paying double the route 8 rate ($17.40) plus $1 postage but apparently being sent part of the route by sea. Covers using this route are scarce. Photo
