Thematic collections
A thematic collection on Indo-Chinese workers in France during WWI. During the war the Colonial Labor Organization Service recuited nearly 49,000 labourers from Indo-China who were given free mail privileges. The collection clearly identifies where the different Indo-Chinese workers were based with the use of the free franchise postmarks on covers and postcards. Also included are picture postcards illustrating the Indo-Chinese workers. An interesting collection, viewing recommended. Total 22 items.
