"Via Marseilles" bearing 6c. lilac (wing margin) and 48c. rose-carmine cancelled by "B62" in blue with "1" and "2/1½" rate marks in red crayon, London Paid (11.1.1865) and "boston am pkt/paid" (28.1) c.d.s. in red. The reverse bears a fine strike of the large, double-oval "Forwarded By/Augustine Heard & Co./Hong Kong" in red with Hong Kong despatch c.d.s.
