Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China, Hong Kong, $10, 20.9.1940, serial number T/G 682704, red, allegorical man in helmet at left, one handsigned signature,
(Pick 55b), PMG 55EPQ, as made wrinkle. Last issue date for the handsigned type. With original paper and bright vivid colours. And not to mention a large clean hand signature. PMG Census second highest grade example with EPQ designation. Early type that is rarely seen in such lovely and fresh condition! Consecutive with previous lot, not often seen as a pair. A PMG 55EPQ example was sold in Spink March 2024 for HKD72,000 (inc.premium)


1940年印度新金山中國渣打銀行拾員，編號T/G 682704，紅色，「羅馬兵」，左側為戴頭盔的頭像，手簽署名，PMG 55EPQ，原有摺痕。手簽版別之尾發年份。原裝色彩亮麗，簽名完整清晰。PMG評級紀錄中連EPQ級別之亞軍分。極罕早期美品，更與上一項為連號，尤為難得，另一枚獲PMG 55EPQ於2024年3月斯賓克拍賣會以72,000港元成交
