Germany: 1871 (22 Mar.) blue envelope to Hamburg "Via Trieste" bearing 6c. and 30c. vermilion plus 6c. (3) in the lower corner paying the late fee, tied by "B62" in black with "1/6" rate mark in red ink plus "6" in blue crayon, the reverse with despatch and arrival (30.4); some wrinkling at sides due the large enclosure. A good triple-rate franking

The postal convention with Austria for letter via Trieste was 12c. per ¼ ounce from 25 July 1866 to 6 February 1868 which was then reduced to 12c. per ½ ounce to January 1874
