The HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, pair of progressive proofs $50 cut from a unique sheet, ND (1968-83), blue on pink and yellow, coat of arms at right, reverse blue, old HSBC building, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Limited,
(Pick 184r), PMG 65EPQ Gem Uncirculated, and in holder no grade. Second highest grade, with a total of 7 graded sample. Note that Bradbury Wilkinson are not known to produce remainders and these notes were cut from 'pre-final production' proofs sheets that were created for final approval from the printer and HSBC. Hence they are NOT remainders or printing remnants as designated by PMG.Very rare, a must-have for any serious collector of vintage Hong Kong banknotes.(2)


1968-1983年匯豐銀行伍拾圓樣票一對，無日期，前者評PMG 65EPQ，後者裝封PMG套，評級報告中僅有另外6枚，而此品更是亞軍分。雖然被PMG定性為庫存票，但印刷商布拉德伯里威爾金森公司一貫以來沒有庫存票流出，而此品乃從量印前予匯豐銀行審批之最後原張樣票裁剪出來，值得留意，進階香港紙鈔藏家必收
