Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Charles James Cameron Sheridan), area of solder on reverse, very fine Estimate £ 60-80 Second Lieutenant Charles James Cameron Sheridan, born 1900, native of Maryhill, Glasgow, Scotland; commissioned Royal Air Force, 1.4.1918; served during the Great War as Pilot with 54 (Fighter) Squadron (Sopwith Camels) in the French theatre of War, and was killed whilst flying Camel C8346, 29.8.1918, he is buried in the Avesnes-Le-Comte Communal Cemetery Extension.
