Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Stanley William Edwards), very fine Estimate £ 50-70 10043 Sergeant Stanley William Edwards, a native of Wandsworth, London; served during the Great War with the Royal Flying Corps, he was killed whilst flying Sopwith Dolphin (Single Seater Fighter Biplane) C3814, 17.3.1918, whilst posted at No. 10 Aircraft Acceptance Park, Brooklands, Surrey; he is buried at Wandsworth (Earlsfield) Cemetery.
