Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Letter sheets A80, addressed to "Peter OBrien Esq, Stamp Office, Limerick" with light red Maltese Cross cancellation and Kilrush despatch, Limerick arrival jy 16/1840, the interior with handwritten note stating "Your parcel containing 4 sheets of 1d labels & 40 do of 1d Envelopes are come to hand safe amount £6.3.6 Which I have given you credit for"; some creasing on flaps otherwise fine. Also similar lettersheet, A40, dated 1 July 1840 to the same addresee, the interior with handwritten note "I enclose herewith a Return of sales of postage stamps in compliance with your favor of yesterday"; creasing and small repaired hole on front panel.
