Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Envelopes A176 addressed to Cornwall from London and dated 9 June 1840, additionally franked with 1840 1d. black, the left "half" from Plate Ia, TD and the right lettered "D" joined in an apparently successful attempt to defraud the Post Office by using two uncancelled portions of different previously used adhesives, red Maltese Cross cancellations; some minor wrinkles, fine.
