Great Britain Postal History 1840 (21 April) entire letter to Rye with handstruck "P1" of Biddenden in purple and "I Paid" of Cranbrook in red, re-addressed to London and with "b/paid" tombstone datestamp of 27 April, all on front, on reverse straight line "biddenden", Cranbrook (24 April) and Rye (25 April) datestamps; light filing folds but otherwise very fine and clean.
