The Royal Niger Company´s Territories 1888-99 Handstruck Stamps Lokoja Mail Via Akassa 1890 (10 Apr.) unstamped envelope to England, endorsed "Mail No. 7. posted Lokoja 10.4.90" overstruck by fine "the niger territories/post/office/p o/akassa." triple-oval d.s. (Sacher Type 2, S.G. Type 1) for 2 May, the face panel marked "R. Niger. Stamps not procurable" with a further strike of the datestamp partially overstruck by large "6d" tax h.s.; a couple of light creases, otherwise fine and rare.
