The Royal Niger Company´s Territories 1888-99 Handstruck Stamps Akassa "the niger territories/post/office/p o/akassa." triple-oval d.s. Sacher Type 2, S.G. Type 1 1894 (Dec.) Royal Niger Company printed linen-backed envelope (210x117mm.) to London, showing a partially fine strike of the datestamp and bearing 1883-84 2/6d. lilac with 1887-92 5d. dull purple and blue and 10d. dull purple and carmine pair, all placed inverted, cancelled with Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (13.1) in black, London c.d.s. (15.1) on reverse; the 5d. defective and the envelope with a few faults though a rare high value franking for an 11oz. letter. S.G. Z10, 12, 13.
