Gold Coast Half Assinie 1897 (9 Sept.) Myerscough envelope "Per Land Post via Axim" to London, bearing 1884-91 2 1/2d. neatly cancelled by "half assinie/gold coast" Code C c.d.s. (Type 5) with a further superb strike alongside, also showing weak Axim Type 2 c.d.s. (date unclear) and Paid Liverpool Br. Packet c.d.s. (30.9), clear Axim Type 2 c.d.s.
