Gold Coast Elmina 1884 (5 Dec.) envelope to Accra, bearing 1876-84 2d. green marginal example bisected diagonally and cancelled with "elmina" Code A c.d.s. (Type 2) in red with a further fine strike at left below "accra" Type 2 arrival c.d.s. (5.12); the adhesive with perfs. trimmed off at foot and the envelope with a few small faults though of good appearance and exceptionally rare, being the only recorded bisect cover from Elmina recorded by John Sacher.
