Worthing Pier Co. Ltd., £1 shares, 1863, extra long horizontal format, black, very fine. The pier was completed and opened in 1862 to a length of 960 feet. In 1913 the pier was badly damaged by storm and there are two copy photographs of the aftermath included in the lot. Still in use but now owned by Worthing Borough Council Estimate £ 80
