Mine near Würzburg, Southern Germany Estimate £ 120 Gooch, Thomas Longridge (1808 -1882), civil and railway engineer . Brother of Sir Daniel Gooch. Apprenticed to George Stephenson in Newcastle at an early age. Engineer to the Manchester & Leeds Railway until 1844.
