Augt. 1909.), edge bruise, very fine, and scarce to a school-girl Estimate £ 80-120 On the 28th August, 1909, Charlotte Pritchard, aged 7, whilst at play fell from a barge into the River Lea at Blackwall, 6 feet deep, with the tide running. Florence Manning, a school girl, aged 13, jumped in full clothed, caught her, and swam with her a distance of 10 to 12 yards to the side. (Medal approved 15.10.1909).
