Infy.), contact marks, nearly very fine Estimate £ 600-700 1358 Corporal James Tooley, born London, 1820; enlisted in the 90th Foot, September 1838; served with the Regiment in Ceylon, South Africa, the Crimea, and in India, discharged, July 1858 ´´in consequence of loss of arm at centre of forearm by amputation after G.S. Wound at Lucknow 6th Oct 1857´´ (Service papers refer), after 19 years and 271 days with the Colours.
