S-2828 Private Duncan Taylor served with "A" Company, 8th Battalion, the Royal Highlanders during the Great War; died at home, 29.1.1918, and is buried in Muthill Parish Churchyard, Perthshire. S-4150 Private William Allan served with the 7th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders during the Great War; killed in action, 14.7.1916, and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
