1880 (1 April) Overprints on Stamps of Great Britain Covers 1880 (1 Sept.) envelope registered from Limassol to Alexandria, Egypt, bearing 1/2d. rose Plate 19 (2), PI and PJ, 1d. red Plate 208, AA, and 2 1/2d. rosy mauve Plate 14, HB, all cancelled "975" and showing "registered/cyprus" oval d.s. at left with a further part strike at foot, and with despatch c.d.s. below the adhesives, the reverse (part flap missing) with several red wax seals and small part arrival c.d.s.
