TRINIDAD 1863-72 Britannia Issue, Watermark Crown CC, Perf. 12 1/2 Covers 1867 (24 Nov.) double rate envelope to Corsica, bearing 4d. dull lilac and 6d. emerald-green pair all cancelled "1" and showing sender´s cachet in blue, red crayon "1/2", "trinidad/paid" c.d.s., Calais c.d.s. (18.12), circular-framed "pd" and London Paid c.d.s. (19.12), faint arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with a few faults, mainly confined to reverse, though a rare franking.
