TRINIDAD 1863-72 Britannia Issue, Watermark Crown CC, Perf. 12 1/2 Covers 1866 (23 Jan.) entire letter to France, bearing 4d. bright violet horizontal pair (perfs. cut away at left) each cancelled "1" and showing sender´s cachet in blue, red crayon "7", oval-framed "pd" and London Paid c.d.s.
