TRINIDAD 1863-72 Britannia Issue, Watermark Crown CC, Perf. 12 1/2 Covers 1864 (8 Mar.) envelope from San Fernando "Via Southampton" to Harbor Grace, Newfoundland, bearing (1d.) lake, 4d. dull lilac and 1/- bright deep mauve twice cancelled "2" and with the 1d. additionally tied by Trinidad double-arc d.s., also showing red crayon "1/4", Crowned Circle "paid/at/trinidad", h.s. "1d" and London Paid c.d.s. (29.3), all in red, and faint arrival c.d.s. (19.4), the reverse with code "2" despatch c.d.s. and St. John´s transit c.d.s. (18.4).
