Rhodesia 1900 (31 July) "Soldiers letter on active service" from Private Madan, No. 8 Company, 4th. New Zealand Regiment, at Bulawayo to Tepuke, Auckland, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and bearing 1898 Arms 1d. carmine cancelled by Bulawayo c.d.s. with a further strike alongside, the reverse with Auckland (10.9) and Tepuke (14.9) c.d.s.; the envelope with central vertical crease though a scarce cover from this small contingent.
