Mauritius 1860 (7 July) envelope "From Pte. Thomas Tandy 2nd. Battn. 24 Regt. No. 9 Compy" to England, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and bearing 1860 1d. purple-brown, placed sideways and affixed slightly over edge at right, cancelled with target, the reverse with G.P.O.
